2023/08/16 - EpiSoft Release Notes - EpiDirectory - Minor Release
This release is in support of our eScripts project for EpiSoft core platform users.
For SAML / SSO Users, we have also fixed a minor issue where if the SAML / Active Directory account details were updated, this was not clearing the SAML links. There is now a button to do this so that the user can login with their new account name.
This is beside the reset password button and is only visible for users that are enabled for SAML Login
2FA minor fix
The list of user community organisation roles was showing the 2FA icon if the organisation was enabled for 2FA but not if the whole community was enabled for 2FA. This will now display if the community is enabled (affecting epi-me users on 2FA only)
eScript Conformance enhancements
Breached credential checks
EpiSoft will be now checking passwords of all users (except SAML/Single Sign On users) against a known breached credentials website (https://haveibeenpwned.com/Passwords).
This check will occur for new users setting passwords, for users changing their password via My Details or users following the Forgotten Password function.
If the organisation is enabled for ePrescribing, this check will also occur at user login to confirm existing users do not have breached credentials.
Additional user logging
EpiSoft has expanded its user logging tracking to track various state changes in EpiDirectory; these include forgotten password/reset password, new password set, changed password and breached password detected.
ANZCO role mapping
eScripts are required to include a role - this can be set via the user page - it is only required for prescribing doctors. However, do not worry if you forget to set as EpiSoft will also be mapping these via the role page so if you haven't added this field for an individual prescriber, we will use the role mapped from the role page.
We apologise in advance if some specialties are not included as the conformance requirements for eScripts requires us to use the 2006 edition of this role list. Please just map your users to the nearest role or advise us if you cannot find a near match.
Timeout for EpiDirectory
EpiDirectory timeout will be set to 30 minutes from previous 1 hour - users will be timed out after a period of inactivity in EpiDirectory. This does not impact your access / timeout period once you have logged into your community.
