7.10 How to enter an eGFR manually
In most cases, an eGFR will display in the Clinical Summary if pathology results have imported to the patient's record.
If for some reason the eGFR is absent, the user can manually enter a known eGFR or a Se creatinine into the Summary on Edit Protocol or Drug Administration.
On the Clinical Summary, click eGFR which displays in dark blue to show it's a hyperlink to open a popup.
When eGFR is clicked, an interim popup window will open. Click 'Add' to add an eGFR result manually.
Once the eGFR has been entered, click Save to close the popup and return to the main page. The entered eGFR will be used to calculate the BSA-adjusted eGFR if the height and weight of the patient has been recorded.
