7.11 How to enter a baseline GFR
- In order to receive an alert if the eGFR has changed more than 20%, it's necessary to enter a baseline eGFR value for comparison.
- This can be done from the Clinical Summary on Edit Protocol or on Drug Administration via two different links.
- The first is by clicking eGFR and then clicking 'Add' (See tutorial 7.10 How to enter an eGFR manually)
- Once the popup opens, you'll see a field for entry of a baseline eGFR. It's mandatory to enter a current eGFR and then you can also enter the baseline eGFR including date and time of the sample before saving.
- Alternatively, if you only want to enter a baseline and not a current eGFR value, on the Clinical Summary click 'Baseline GFR'
- The Baseline GFR popup will open:
- Tick 'Set new baseline' and then enter the result and date of the sample into the fields that will display.
- Save and close the popup to return to Edit Protocol / Drug Administration
