1.2 Protocol Creation - Edit the Protocol
Setup the structure of the protocol
When opening the Protocol you need to enter all the elements numbered below.
Check the protocol source, e.g. eviQ, if copying the protocol to retrieve the latest information to enter.
1. Protocol Name
2. Abbreviated name (this will display on the appointment list for quick reference)
3. Source last updated
4. Source review date
5. Protocol Identifier number
6. Protocol Version number
7. Cycle frequency (this is the frequency from Day 1 of the current cycle to Day 1 of the following cycle)
8. Tick the Clinical trial / study box to associated this protocol with a clinical trial in your organisation
Ensure you have selected the correct Protocol Source. This may be the Cancer Institute or a variant of an eviQ protocol or it may be a clinical trial protocol or from another source entirely.
Delete any previously attached document by clicking the green 'Delete Document' button above Upload a new document by clicking the select tab
The Notes section below is for recording the expected number of cycles of treatment, the recommended medications and doses for this protocol and any important drug information.
Ensure you SAVE all of your changes
Create a protocol cycle
At the bottom of the Edit Protocol page is a button that creates a new cycle type. Click this button to open and configure a cycle.
