1.3 Protocol Creation -Edit the Protocol Cycle
Creating and Editing the protocol cycle
At the bottom of the EDIT Protocol page you will see located the Protocol Cycle section
A copied protocol will have the cycles listed as seen below
If you are creating a new protocol from scratch, you will need to add at least one cycle type
By clicking on the Cycle it will take you to the Edit Protocol Cycle page
Cycle Name Add Recommended number of Cycles or if Continuous click N/A Tick if Active Specify how many Signatures you want to sign the Protocol document.
Cycle Name - give the cycle an easily recognisable name, for example 'Cycle 1 ONLY' if the there should only be one cycle prescribed of this cycle type or 'Cycle 2 (and further cycles)' to show that the cycle is prescribed indefinitely.
Add recommended number of cycles - Specify if a certain number of cycles should be prescribed of this cycle type or indicate that it can be prescribed indefinitely.
Tick if Active - by default the cycle type will be ticked as 'Active'. This would only be unticked if it still needed more information added before publishing.
Select how many signatures to require for publishing the protocol - The options are 1 signature or 3 signatures. If you need a different number of user signatures, please contact us at EpiSoft.
For multiple signatures the screen will display as seen below and you are able to add the order preference.
Then click Save
