2021/03/10 Release Notes - Admin
Changes to Admission Form:
We have recently updated the Admission Form so that the fields ‘Date patient first aware of symptoms’ and ‘Date patient first consulted doctor for this condition’ now accept dates earlier the 1/1/1980
Billing Icon ($) on Appointment Management:
The ‘$’ Billing Icon visible on the Appointment Management page will now display for outpatient visits. This new icon will appear after the visit has been attended. It will appear in four different colours based on the status of the claim. These include:
1. No account created – GREY
2. Account created but not submitted - ORANGE
3. Account created and submitted - GREEN
4. Account rejected – RED / Watermelon
This colour coding will also apply to inpatient accounts. The $ icon has also been changed to stay visible after certain status settings including after a patient is discharged.
Attending appointments in the future - now an organisation preference
To enable appointments to be attended up to 3 days in the future, a new field in Organisation Preferences must be ticked. If not ticked, appointments in the future will not be enabled to be attended.
Cancel Appointment 'x'
There was an issue where on the Appointment Management page, the red 'x' used to cancel an appointment stopped working. It's now been fixed and can be used for cancelling appointments again.
VINAH (Victorian Integrated Non-Admitted Health) Reporting:
The new Victorian Governments mandated VINAH report is under beta-testing at our initial site in Victoria, who we will be working with to ensure the report operates as expected before being made available to other EpiSoft organisations. This report will be made available via a new Organisation Preference, which can be turned on upon request.
