2021/09/02 Release Notes - CareZone mini-release
New Features
We’ve added a new entry field, ‘Pain Score’, to Observations on the Visit Record and the Obs quick link from Manage Appointments. This is a numeric field where any number between 0 and 10 can be entered each time vital signs are recorded. This will be useful when for example, recording new back pain, when administering monoclonal antibodies.
Pathology ordering for organisations with their own Patient Admission System (PAS)
A role permission has been created for those users who work at an organisation with their own PAS, where they need Episoft forms for pathology/radiology requests, so that they can order through Episoft if preferred.
Unsigned Protocols menu item
Following a request from an Episoft organisation, we’ve made the Patient Name heading on Unsigned Protocols, sortable, so that the list can be alpha sorted by patient.
New column on report
A new column has been added to the Protocol Appointment By Service Setting Additional Detail report of ‘Contract’, for those organisations who have ad-hoc billing contracts that need to be reported on in patient reports.

Site Drop-down lists
Following the last software release on 25/9/2021, some site drop-down lists had gone out of order. This has now been corrected to alphabetical order.
‘Medication on Episoft’ alert
One Episoft organisation who uses their own PAS, needed an alert to the nurses, for inpatients who needed medications administered on Episoft. This was to ensure the medications were administered as prescribed.
Column format change
On Debtor’s Management, the download of the form with Service Date and Submit Date have not been easy to manipulate in Excel format. These fields have been modified to ensure ease of data management in the downloads.
