2021/12/09 Release Notes epi-me (eAdmissions release)
Pease contact help@episoft.com.au if you would like any of these features activated in your epi-me platform.
NEW FEATURES
APIs FOR THIRD-PARTY APP INTEGRATION
EpiSoft has developed APIs into epi-me to offer integration of the eAdmissions patient portal with third-party apps, such as Patient / Consumer apps that the healthcare provider may offer.
The objective of the APIs are to better embed eAdmissions into existing apps the provider may offer and reduce double-data entry for patients, which improves the patient experience. Patients can continue to use the eAdmissions Patient Portal without the app, so the integration is complementary rather than replacing eAdmissions.
Initially, EpiSoft has made available APIs to provide single sign on and eAdmission create / view / edit capabilities.
Third-party apps can 'call' the APIs to create or link their patient identity and demographics with an eAdmissions account, and create, edit or view an eAdmission.
Planned enhancements include further APIs to offer access to other eAdmissions functions.
