NEW FEATURES
Updating wording for COVID-19 Questions:
Question 1 on the form has been re-worded to "Have you had contact with a COVID-19 positive patient in the last 7 days, or been identified as a close contact?"
Question 2 on the form has been re-worded to "Have you recently been diagnosed as COVID-19 positive"
Section 2 removed from COVID-19 Pre-admission Screening form
In line with recent changes to the Victorian COVID-19 Hospital Screening tool / guidelines, we have removed the requirement for patients to upload a recent COVID-19 test
Changes to 'Do Later' button on follow-up form pop-up window
Feedback from customers indicated that too many patients are clicking 'Do later' when prompted to complete their follow-up forms, leading to low compliance levels. To increase compliance, we have repositioned, and updated the colour of the 'Do later' button displayed at the bottom of the follow-up form pop-up window, making the button less prominent to patient/users.
New 'Follow-Up Form section' added to Patient Portal landing page
We have introduced a new 'Follow-up Form section positioned at the top of the Patient Portal landing page, where patient/users can view and complete any follow-up forms that have been assigned for any upcoming admission.
New Question to trigger Blood and Bleeding Disorders Alert
We have introduced a new trigger question for a Blood and Bleeding clinical alert, which is when a patient answers YES to the question "Any other blood or bleeding disorders?". Please speak with your epi-me System Administrators if you would like your user-role to be subscribed to alerts for Blood and Bleeding Disorders.
New Question available in Medicare Details section
We have introduced a new question to the Medicare Details section on the Insurance and Payment Details page of epi-me's Admission forms. This question can be made available upon request by setting the form page configuration of 'INCLUDE_MEDICARE_NAME_ON_CARD' to TRUE.
BUG FIXES:
General day-stay Admissions - answers failing to save on Lifestyle & Diet page
It was brought to our attention that some fields for both parent (Are you pregnant?) and sub questions on the Lifestyle and Diet page are not failing to save data, and appeared blank when the user navigated back to the page after saving. The question "Are you pregnant" is now saving the responses to both the parent and sub questions as expected.
GP Details page re-formatted for Mobile Devices
A formatting issue was identified on the GP Details page when view on mobile devices, with text fields extending horizontally beyond the screen's edge. This usability issue has now been resolved, and all text fields format correctly on the page, making it much easier to navigate, as well as capture GP details.
Paediatric Admissions - Character limit applied to free-text fields on Lifestyle & Diet page.
If a response of over 250 characters was entered in any of the free-text field on the Lifestyle & Diet page for Paediatric admissions, an error page would be displayed, and all of the data entered on the page would not be saved. We have applied a character limit to each field to prevent patient/users entering over the maximum character limit in a single field.
Paediatric Admissions - Character limit applied to MRO question
If a response of over 250 characters was entered for the question "Has the child ever been diagnosed with a multi-resistant organism (MRO)?", an error page would be displayed, and all of the data entered on the page would not be saved. We have applied a charter limit to this question that prevents patient/users entering over the maximum character limit in a single field.
Mandatory flag on Infection Screening page
An issue was identified with a missing mandatory validator of the question "Do you have flu like symptoms or symptoms of respitory tract infection AND have recently traveled interstate or overseas in the last 14 days" of the Infection Screening page (Page 3 Health History form). This allowed patients to save the page without providing an answer, despite the question appearing mandatory. The issue has been resolved.
Misspelling corrected on page 2 of Health History forms
We have corrected a typo that was identified in the question "Does your child have, or have they ever had, depression, anxiety or other diagnosed mental health issues?" (Neurological & Mental Health section, page 2 of Health History forms).
Password protected & Encrypted documents no longer error when printing
Previously, if a patient/user uploaded a password protected / encrypted supporting document for their admission, the system would error. This issue has now been resolved, and all uploaded documents will print as expected.
Mental Health Assessment PDF Printing issue
An issue was identified on the Mental Health Assessment PDF with several fields in the Referral Summary print-block appearing out of order when printed. This issue has now been resolved, and the Referral Summary data is all present, and is presented in a consistent and legible order on the PDF.
Misspelling corrected on Patient Details report
It was brought to our attention that there was a typo in the column 'Enduring Guardian' when viewing the Patient Details report. This issue has now been resolved.
MBS item editable on submitted Admission
It was brought to our attention that user's had the ability to edit, and add new MBS Item numbers on a fully submitted admission. This issue has now been resolved, and the MBS Item number field will appear read-only for any submitted admission.
Wrong Header on 'Patient Consent to Receive Marketing and Fundraising Material' report
It was brought to our attention that the 'Patient Consent to Receive Marketing Material' report displayed the wrong header name, which was incorrectly displayed as 'Admission Report (submitted)'. This issue has now been resolved, and the report now displays the Header Name when viewing the report.
History Form XML Export Correction (Healthscope) - Paediatric Relationship element
An issue was identified in the Healthscope XML export specific to Paediatric admissions, where the export failed to include an element for the question 'Relationship of person completing this form to patient' (Paediatric Admission - Discharge Planning planning page). The export has now been updated, and the new element is now populating the History Form XML export.
Acknowledgment Validator on Health History Submit page
If a user performed a certain sequence of clicks (tick top acknowledgement check-box, set the form completed radio BUT leave the day stay acknowledgement check-box BLANK, then fix the missing day-stay box) the SMS validation code field would not be displayed, and users would not be able to submit their admissions. This issue has now been resolved.
