2022/08/04  EpiSoft Release Notes - Software Patch 04/08/2022

Please contact help@episoft.com.au if you would like any of these features activated in your EpiSoft instance.

NEW FEATURES:

New Organisation Preferences - Pharmacy Orders module:
We have created an new organisation preference that that enables the 'Dispensed' column to be ticked BEFORE ticking received on Manage Orders, which will also allow users to see the print icon on the Patient Pharmacy list within Pharmacy Orders. Now, users can print a draft order that contains all medications to be ordered by the pharmacy, as well as the ability to dispense Medications before they have arrived.

New Report - 'Billing Services Write-off Report'
We have introduced a new report to help administration teams keep track of any billing services that have been written off over a given period of time. Users can also filter the report by patient Epi ID, as well as billing account number.

Updated SAVE Icon:
We have updated the colour of the SAVE icon currently displayed at the top of each column for the Patient Pharmacy list, to make it more distinguishable from the PDF icon.

BUG FIXES:

Payor Invoice now calculating correct Payor Outstanding Amount for Pharmacy Items
It was brought to our attention that the 'Payor Outstanding Amount' displayed on the Payor Invoice for any billing account failed to correctly calculate for Pharmacy items that had a $0.00 expected benefit paid. This was a common issue on some ad-hoc payor contracts, as the payor invoice was expecting an 'expected benefit paid' for each service item on the account. When updating service items that have a provider charge of $0.00 on the billing contract, there is a new check-box of 'Copy provider charge to expected benefit paid'. Payer invoices with items that have a $0.00 expected benefit paid on the billing contract now calculates the outstanding amount correctly.

Issue resolved with View Protocol icon - Pharmacy Orders module:
It was brought to our attention that when a user clicks the 'View Protocol' tear-drop icon on the Patient Pharmacy List, after viewing the protocol and returning to the list, the user was directed back to the top of the list which was causing workflow and efficiency issues for pharmacists. This issue has now been resolved, and users will now be returned to the patient line-item / medication order that they were reviewing.
