NEW FEATURES

Patient Portal

Removal of COVID Recent Testing and Cluster/Area Questions by Optional Form Configuration (EM-4879 and EM-4899)

At the request of one of our customers we have created two new form configurations on the General Infection Screening page as well as two new configurations on the Paediatric infection screening page which remove two of the COVID questions from the form.

· Setting HISTORY_INFECTION_INCLUDE_COVID_CLUSTER to FALSE removes the question: ‘In the last 14 days have you visited or do you reside in an area with a known outbreak / cluster of COVID- 19 cases?*’ (Y/N)
· Setting: HISTORY_INFECTION_INCLUDE_COVID_RECENTLY_TESTED to FALSE removes the following question and the associated subquestions (Date and Result): ‘Have you recently been tested for COVID-19? *’ (Y/N).

Likewise, HISTORY_INFECTION_INCLUDE_COVID_CLUSTER_PAEDS and HISTORY_INFECTION_INCLUDE_COVID_RECENTLY_TESTED_PAEDS do the same on the Paediatric Infection screening page.

Public Patient Workflow – Addition of Dynamic hint text below 'Are you a public patient?' radio button question (EM-6135)

At the request of one of our customers, Episoft have added hint text below the ‘Are you a Public Patient?’ question, This is configurable using Dynamic Text Item 93 so can be amended by each customer, it can be left blank if no hint text is required.

Admin Portal

New custom, all optional Acute History pages of Mental Health Admissions and Assessments Made

Episoft have customised new versions of the Acute health history pages to configure on Mental health Admissions and Assessments non-mandatory to address the requirement of one customer. This change has been made in order to save the patients time when completing the forms.

Two Additional Columns in the IFC and Payments Report (EM-6032)

In order to show Admin portal users when patients have viewed and signed the IFC the time and date the patient downloaded their IFC via the 'View IFC' button has been recorded as well as the time and date if the page being signed and submitted.

This is to allow Admin portal users to see which patients have viewed their IFC but not completed it, as well as any gap between the two.

Addition of "Day" column on Roster Management page for Maternity Bookings and Payments customers (Helpdesk #26388)

For customers using the Maternity Bookings module, Episoft have added the ability to search by day of the week and a column to the Roster management screen.

Restrict Unsubmission of Registration and History Forms to Users by Role Right (EM-6201)

This has been a longstanding request from several customers, to ensure that certain Admin Portal roles aren’t allowed to unnecessarily unsubmit Admission forms. This was done as Unsubmission sometimes causes downstream problems throughout the workflow. In particular Unsubmitted admissions can be problematic when they have an associated IFC or payment.

For Unsubmit of Admission Form and Health History there are two new role rights:

1. ‘Unsubmit Forms' - when ticked this will show the ‘Unsubmit’ button when FALSE it will hide the button on the Admission Worklist
2. ‘Unsubmit Registration Form’ - when ticked this allows the user to unsubmit the Registration form (i.e the user opens the popup it will display the forms sections as for current users (Admission/Registration and History) when unticked the user will only have the ability to unsubmit the patient’s history form

BUG FIXES

Patient Portal

Multiple transaction records being created on IFC payment page for Merchant Suite Integration (EM-6028)

A bug has been fixed for customers using the Merchant Suite payments integration, previously refreshing the payments page after a successful payment sent duplicate payment messages over the interface.

Day Stay admissions if user selects ‘yes’ to Public Patient, and then changes selection to ‘No’ the room type question remains hidden but remains mandatory (Hidden Validator) (Helpdesk #26427, EM-6216)

A bug has been fixed for customers with the Day Stay Public Patient workflow which hid the Room Type field after users selected ‘Yes’ to the ‘Are you a public patient?’ question.

Interface

Fix for 'Unclosed Tags' issue result in interface outage (Helpdesk #33157, EM-5791)

This is the most common reason for a channel outage on epi-me / eAdmissions.

Occasionally, outbound XML files (eg. Admission Form data, History Form data, documents) are prematurely picked up for transfer to a customer system which results in an interface routine error and a fatal outage.

EpiSoft is alerted after 20 minutes and can manually resolve the issue, which is usually acceptable to most customers. There is one customer which relies on the interface being up 100% of the time during business hours and therefore this bug is fatal for their business continuity.
