Notes for EpiSoft Release 16/08/2023 - Admin Functionality
Menu Item organisation
At the request of many of our users, we have moved the Main Menu and Patient Menu items around to put the most commonly used
items at the top of the list for ease of access.
This will cause some frustration while users are getting accustomed to the new order of items but we are sure you’ll find it helpful very soon. In addition to the rearrangement, we’ve simplified some of the menu names to be more user-friendly.
Please see below for the changes we’ve made:
Main Menu:
Patient Menu:
Messages Module - enhance for streamlined eReferral import
We have done a major upgrade to the Messages import module to allow you to receive electronic referrals and not have to edit them within the patient referrals module after import.
They will import as complete by default but you can untick the IMport as Complete tickbox if you wish to see save them as incomplete - if they import as complete, they will not appear in the eReferrals Pending.
All fields necessary for the completion of the referral are now in the Messages module in Edit mode page. Referral expiry will be set using the same rules as when calculated when entering directly based on referral date and referral type.
Edit Referral via Booking Request (protocol appointments)
Associated referrals can be edited via Booking Requests for all appointments within that cycle - see below:
VADC Referrals
For ease of tracking status of VADC referrals a new dropdown list will display on the referral page. This will be only enabled/visible for VADC organisations
Bug fixes and Report changes / fixes
Letters to sign/send
In the To Send tab of letters to sign/send the referrer going to was displaying from the initial letter and not reloading the parameter for the selected letter. This has been resolved.
Claim submission - occasional slowdowns
Users would occasionally get significant slowdown on claim submission. This has been resolved.
Patient Merge
Depending on the data in the patient record, a number of users were reporting errors on patient merge from time to time. We have resolved all known reasons for patient merge error so these should reduce.
