NEW FEATURES
PATIENT PORTAL
Insurance Details page - Update Medicare Card Hint Image for Accessibility (EM-8322, Helpdesk #36727)
The Medicare card example on the Insurance Details page has been updated to use a higher contrast colour scheme to improve accessibility for patients with vision impairment such as colour blindness.

General Health History - Allow Future Dates for Blood Tests (EM-8142, Helpdesk #36377)
Future dates can now be selected for the blood tests question on the General Health History page. This question is subject to the existing Form Configuration HISTORY_CVD_ENDO_TEST_RESULTS_EXTRA_QS being set to TRUE.
As shown below, the subquestions have been re-labelled to further assist what information is required to be entered here, and hint text has been added.

This accommodates patients completing their eAdmission in advance of scheduled blood tests.
General Health History - Add Pre-Diabetic Option to Diabetes Question (EM-8454 and EM-8587, Helpdesk #36467)
A new form configuration labelled HISTORY_CVD_DIABETES_PREDIABETIC_DETAILS has been introduced on the various versions (Adult standard, Adult summary, Adult all optional, Adult custom SJGHC and Paediatric) of the General Health History page.
When TRUE, the parent question reads “Diabetes or pre-diabetic?” and if Yes, there is a “Pre-diabetic” option available for selection.
This also appears in the Diabetes Clinical Alert, if subscribed.
The reason for this new functionality is to screen Pre-diabetic patients who may not yet be formally diagnosed as Diabetic and may not be on the High Risk Medications that are commonly associated with Diabetes, which is captured on the Allergies & Medications page if HISTORY_MEDS_INCLUDE_DIABETES (for Adults) or HISTORY_MEDS_PAEDS_INCLUDE_DIABETES (for Paediatrics) is TRUE.
General Health History (Adult + Paediatric) - Add Prompt to Contact Admitting Doctor for Endocrine Issues (EM-7450, Helpdesk #36849)
To ensure endocrine conditions are communicated to the Admitting Dr prior to procedures, a new prompt has been introduced on both Adult and Paediatric Health History pages when Users report unshared conditions such as diabetes or thyroid issues.
A prompt now advises the patient to contact their doctor as it may affect their procedure.

Obstetric History - Add Family History of Twins Question (EM-8453, Helpdesk #36323)
A new form configuration labelled HISTORY_OBSTETRIC_FAMILY_HISTORY_TWINS
has been introduced to capture family history of twins or multiple births in the Family History section. It also requires HISTORY_OBSTETRIC_FAMILY_HISTORY_SEPARATE_QUESTIONS to be TRUE.
When enabled, a mandatory Yes/No question labelled “Twins or multiple births?” appears above the existing family history fields.
Infection Screening and COVID Alert - Update Diagnosis Window and Alert Trigger to 7 Days prior to admission (EM-8533 and EM-8755, Helpdesk #36466)
The COVID-19 diagnosis question on Infection Screening pages (Adult standard, Adult all optional and Paediatric) has been updated to specify diagnosis within the past 7 days before admission. The associated COVID clinical alert logic has also been updated to trigger only if the diagnosis falls within 7 days prior to admission.
This aligns with the latest infection disease screening guidelines.
Allergies & Medications - Require Allergy Grid Entry if Allergies Indicated (EM-5024, Helpdesk #37208, #36741, #37207 and #37361)
To force entry of allergies in a structured format, new form configurations have been introduced across Allergies & Medication page variants:
When TRUE, a User who indicates the patient has allergies must now enter at least one allergy into the allergy grid.
A new Dynamic Text ID 108 has also been added above the allergy grid to allow customer-specific instructions on what needs to be entered. This provides flexibility if customers already screen for some specific allergies separately (e.g. latex, food).
These changes aim to improve data accuracy and ensure safer clinical care by mandating allergy data collection when relevant.

Allergies & Medications - Require Medication Grid Entry if Medications Indicated (EM-8661, Helpdesk #37208, #36741, #37207 and #37361)
Similar to the above - to force entry of medications in a structured format, these other new form configurations have been introduced across Allergies & Medication page variants:
There is an existing Dynamic Text ID 4 that can be modified to support this new mandate.
Paediatric Lifestyle & Diet - Add Fasting Instructions Question (EM-8047, Helpdesk #36120)
A new Form Configuration called HISTORY_LIFESTYLE_INCLUDE_FASTING_INSTRUCTIONS_PAEDS has been added which, when TRUE, displays a mandatory question in paediatric admissions: “Has the patient’s admitting doctor provided fasting instructions for this admission?”
This is a paediatric equivalent of the adult fasting instructions question already present in general admissions and appears under the 'Other General Health Details' section of the Lifestyle and Diet (Paediatric) page.
HC21 / National Claim Form eSignature - Update Wording to Match HC21 Acknowledgement of Financial Implications (EM-8793)
The HC21 financial implications acknowledgement text on the Estimate of Fees and IFC eSigning page has been updated to read: “I acknowledge that I have read the Informed Financial Consent (IFC) and understand the financial implications of the admission and associated hospital charges.”
The previous wording was "I acknowledge that I have read and understand the Fee Statement and that the hospital charges have been explained". The reason
This brings the wording into alignment with the HC21 claim form requirements and makes it more explicit that the IFC document is what they need to acknowledge and understand.
ADMIN PORTAL
Admission Form PDF - Display Created by 'Staff Member' for Internal Admissions (EM-8716, Helpdesk #36826)
eAdmission forms created internally by staff members now correctly display “Staff member” in the ‘Form completed by’ section of the PDF instead of incorrectly labelling staff as “Carer” which could be misconstrued as someone acting as the patient's family member, guardian or representative.
Allergies & Medications - Health History PDF - relabel diabetic medications printout label to mention weight loss medications (EM-8330, Helpdesk #36738)
The printout label has been updated from “On diabetes medication?” to “On diabetes or weight loss medication?” when patients select Yes to taking medications such as Ozempic or Saxenda.
This change aligns with the alert wording shown in the clinical record and avoids incorrect implication of a diabetes diagnosis for patients taking these medications for other indications such as weight management.
Manage Alerts - View Inactive Role Groups and Remove Role Linkages on Deactivation (EM-8768)
The Manage Alerts screen now allows users to view inactive Role Groups through a new “Show inactive role groups” option. Deactivating a Role Group now automatically removes all linked roles, and inactive groups are displayed with the suffix “(INACTIVE)” for clarity.
The reason for this change is to allow legacy Alert Role configurations to be viewed for audit purposes and also to allow them to be restored if required.
IFC & Payment Details Report - Add Status and Payment Preference Filters (EM-8803)
The IFC and Payment Details report now supports multi-select filtering by Status and Payment Preference. A single-select Status filter and a multi-select Payment Preference filter have been added, enabling users to locate relevant IFC records without needing to manually export and filter the report in Excel.
A use-case of this is to support customer Accounts Receivable teams filtering the IFC records to find captured tokens so they can process discharge incidentals. In this example, they would select a Status of 'Payment complete' and the two Payment Preferences that include 'Allow Automatic Charging'.

Payments & Refunds page - Payments grid now includes the surcharge amounts and indicates the use of token, if any (EM-8415)
