Appointment list
Important change! affecting all users using the appointment module
Based on numerous user requests, the Appointment List (Appointment Management) page and the Dr Home Page displays the upcoming patients whose visits have not been completed (outpatient) or discharged (inpatient).
The aim is to keep today's list shorter and all the patients you are working on Page 1 to save you having to jump to page 2.
To view all appointments, untick the new checkbox beside the "cancelled" checkbox at the top of the list.
Primary Clinician for the patient
At the request of users, we have added the ability to create a primary clinician on the patient. This is then visible in all records where the demographic record is visible. If you don't want this to appear, just leave the field blank on the Edit Patient page.
Contract module - some usability enhancements
Previously you could only copy the latest active contract for a particular payor. Now you can copy any contract. A warning if the contract is not the latest current active will appear but you can still proceed to copy.

Debtors' management page - new filter
Electronic messages via Medical Objects
Our message samples to MO for letters outbound has now been approved by MO and pilot testing commence when their Help Desk has notified us that the pilot site is set up and ready. We will be in touch with the initial pilot site when we have heard back from MO.
Visit location on ad hoc visit
The visit location was not repopulating the dropdown list of sites when editing a visit and changing the clinician. This has been resolved.
Some popup windows getting cut off
On lower screen resolutions, the popup windows were sometimes appearing partially under the frozen pane with patient demographics at the top of a visit form. This has been resolved.
Patient contact module
The "Selected visit type" filter was causing the reload of the search after contact record save to run very slow. This has been resolved.
Patient merge issue - affecting MoleMap interface only
If patient country or street type empty in EpiSoft database, the patient merge was erroring - this has been resolved
Admission Coding form change
We are TRIALLING a new way of searching for conditions, procedures, allergies etc.
This is via typeahead within an ICD10AM chapter.
Based on feedback from users, we will extend this search function to other Lookups in the system. Note you can only select the underlined options. Codes at a higher level are included for info only but cannot be selected. You can search on Code or Description.
