Dose calculation - important for Doctors
We have now locked down the prescribed dose from being edited IF there is a % value in the dose reduction by % field and vice versa. % reduction always calculates off the recommended base dose. If you wish to switch methods of dose reduction from prescribed dose to dose reduction by %, then you must first clear the other field.
This has been introduced as an added safety check in the event that Drs are not aware that the % reduction is working from the original recommended dose and not a subsequently edited prescribed dose.

We have done a major release to Pharmacy Orders to improve the performance of the page.
You will see some changes to layout to flatten out the content but the main difference you should is a faster page load speed. We will continue to monitor and tweak this over the next week or so to see if we can refine the time to load further.
The other functional difference is that medications without an appointment that need to be ordered are now visible on the page (no longer reliant on being linked to appointment).
Protocol administration
If the vehicle was not entered on an infusion medication type, the protocol would error when assigned to a patient. There is now a validator to prevent this.

If you wish to enter a medication with amount rather than dose, the dose would previously set to zero. However, you can now save dose as blank if you prefer to used amount based dose.
Protocol V2 was missing PDF link atthe top of the Protocol page
This is now back with links to the main document as well as any others added to your site's protocol publish record.
Infusion order printout not printing with capped BSA and no BSA.
One of our sites managed to save the visit record with a capped BSA without the BSA value which caused a problem printing the infusion order; this will now print
Changes to Observation Charts and recording
We now have a third Observation Chart option for Day Procedure Centres. This can be set under System Administration Organisation Preferences. We recommend all the Day Procedure Centres change to this version of the chart. We also changed the labels on the Observation chart preferences so source of the Standard is listed.
Once that Org preference is set, you will then view a different chart when you click the Observations shortcut. We also cut the resp rate maximum value down to provide more display to the normal range.
Per cancer sites UGM request, when recording the Obs in the Nursing Assessment, a comments field has now been added as well as the BP position (with default of sitting).
Multiple documents attached protocol publish page
One of the sites reported that they could not attach multiple documents to the protocol publish page. This was a permission issue that may have affected some sites; this has been resolved.
Substitute medication - copy forward
One of the sites raised an issue with the substitute medication not copying forward as per the standard medication protocol options. An issue with how substituted medications currently copy forward has been resolved; in a later release, we will bring the copy options back into line with standard medication protocol options. Please meantime check your copy forwards for substituted medications as the options are currently different to other protocol meds.
AOD Sites
For the info of our AOD sites, there have been changes made to the AOD reports per discussions with Michael.
