Add New Patient From Calendar
Users can now create new patients when booking appointments in the calendar. Below is an interactive guide on how to add a new patient from the calendar

Admin Notes
We have implemented an Admin Notes page. This can be found on the patient record under the Reminders/Tasks tab. Below is an interactive guide on how to use the new Admin Notes

Appointment Audit
As requested at the most recent UGM we have implemented a more extensive appointment audit trail. To view the appointment audit click on the appointment to open the Edit Appointment page then click on the View Audit button. By default the audit shows status changes, to view date changes check the View Date Changes checkbox.

Billing
We have identified an issue with bulkbill medical claim reconciliation where if the claim was disputed and resubmitted the flags were not clearing correctly resulting in the reconciliation data not being visible on the billing tab. This has been resolved
Sites can now submit DVA accommodation/hospital only claims electronically
When billing DVA patients CareZone will now do a check of the if the patient has either a Gold or White DVA card and only then will it select DVA as the default payor.
Letter templates
We have added a filter to the Letter Templates page, the page now displays only Active letters. To view inactive letters check the Show Inactive checkbox
New Admin/Billing Reports
We have deployed a new Referrals Receipt Report, this is a date range report that will display all referrals received in the date range. The report includes the patient id, name, referral date, referral type, referral source, referrer name, referrer organisation & receiving clinician.
There is a new Referral Expiry Report this report finds all reports that are due to expire in the next 7 days. The report includes the patient id, name, referral date, referral type, referral source, referrer name, referrer organisation, receiving clinician, referral expiry date & days till expiry
To improve the reconciliation processes of inpatient billing we have added a new flag and included the unpaid amount on the ERA Report
Remove unnecessary pop-up boxes
As we have mentioned previously we are working through the application to remove all the places where we have unnecessary pop-up boxes. Thank you to those that have sent us through info on which ones they would like removed.
In this release we have removed pop-up boxes from the accounts page, when you create a certificate a pop-up box displayed and when you changed the account status a pop-up box displayed, we have removed both these pop-up boxes.
If you know of any other pop-up boxes that need to be removed please email with the details of which page we will find them on and what action needs to be performed for it to display.
Reminders (SMS & Email)
We have created a two new sms parameters:
· Clinician Short name this is the clinicians title and surname, for example Dr Smith
· For date short this is the appointment date without the day name, for example 7 November 2017
In advance of implementing reply back SMS and protocol reminders we have been working to align the business rules on reminder updates to appointment date and time.
System Administration
We have added a new system administration page to manually recycle cached lists, this means that if a new item is added to a list such as the ICD 10 lookup we can manually recycle the list so that users do not need to wait until the application recycles overnight to be able to select the new item
We have added a new copy from on the roles page so that system administrators can more quickly create roles.
