2018/12/04 Release Notes (Clinical)

Test results minor updates

A couple of changes to the test results module to show the status of interim, final or corrected. This only appears on results fully imported in the Test Results form because in the results pending list, the content is just looking at the message level for performance reasons

De-duplication of medications on the script finalise page for protocol scripts

We have made a change to the protocol script pages to de-duplicate medications on different steps in the protocol that are identical

Double click protection

In a previous version we introduced a feature where the action button could not be double clicked so there is a delay in enabling the Save and other buttons - we have made a change to check the page content is valid.
The upshot of this is if you edit a medication for example and get a validation error, the save function is available immediately as you soon as you correct the errors on the page.

Public hospital script

We have a new printout option for public hospital scripts. This will only appear if the EpiSoft hospital is a public hospital

The script will automatically create 2 copies - one for Pharmacist or Patient and one for Medicare/DVA in accordance with PBS electronic script legislative requirement

If you need to print another copy for the patient for Community Pharmacy, tick this box on the Print Additional Info page

Some changes to Protocol Administration (Protocol Library) to filter views and access privileges.

The purpose of these changes are to make the protocol list more manageable for protocol creatorsk, protocol prescribers and also to help organisations sharing protocols to facilitate the sharing of these without export and import of the relevant protocols.

The search by Drs on selection of the protocol will also be locked down to visit reasons to which the user has access

If you wish to share protocols across facilities - please contact EpiSoft with the System ID, full name and protocol identifier. At the moment, there is no option to share large numbers of protocols in bulk so we can currently facilitate the sharing of small numbers of protocols.
