2019/10/16 Release Notes (EpiSoft Kiosk)

New Check-in Option - Appointment Details

This enables patients without a barcode or their reference number handy to check-in at the kiosk. Patients will need to know which healthcare provider they are seeing, their First Name, Last Name and Date of Birth to use this new check-in method.

Medicare Check-in Option can be toggled on or off

In the default configuration of the kiosk, the ability for patients to check-in using their Medicare card number and Date of Birth is turned off. This can be turned back on at the customer's preference.

Patients can now confirm their demographics / details

When selecting the appointment/s they wish to check-in for, patients now need to confirm their Name, Medicare Number, Residential Address and Mobile Phone Number. If they respond that their details as shown are not correct, they will be prompted to See Reception to update them.

Remove clinician surname and add appointment date to queue ticket

The surname of the patient's clinician has been removed from the queue ticket for privacy reasons. Only the first name now shows.

To prevent the patient potentially re-using the queue ticket for future appointments, the appointment date has also been added to the queue ticket.

New Outlook Integration:

Users now have the ability to view their client appointments which have been created in EpiSoft, in their Microsoft Outlook Calendar
