2019/12/11 Release Notes (Clinical)

Fixed Issues
Weekend Roster Visibility
The changes to EpiSoft's look and feel caused an unintended issue whereby weekend rosters were not visible in the calendar. This issue has been resolved.

Start/Stop time on drug administration chart
An issue was reported that clicking the start/stop time button on the drug administration chart when using Internet Explorer caused an error, this has been resolved

Improved contrast on pharmacy orders & report grids

A pale blue contract has been added to the report grid headings and to the patient heading on the pharmacy orders page. This change has been made in response to feedback on the new colour scheme.

Changes
Allergies
The word 'Allergies' has been replaced with 'Allergies & Adverse Drug Reactions' throughout the system. In areas of limited space we have truncated the heading to 'Allergies & ADR'

Organisation preference for Mosteller or Dubois BSA calculation

Organisations can now choose their default BSA calculation method (either Mosteller or Dubois). If a prescriber changes the calculation method from default setting the new calculation method will carry forward for that patient.

Reports
Warehoused reports
Warehoused reports can now be identified by a i icon above the report grid. See below screenshot

Prescribed protocols by patient report
A new report has been created that allows the user to search on a date range to find all patients on a protocol. The user can also search on an individual patient to find all protocols prescribed for that patient in the date range.
Column headers can be used to filter to show specific data you want to see, such as the number of cycles administered. To do this, enter a word in the cycles administered column filter, such as the number '1' . Then click the 'T' symbol next to the text and choose a filter, e.g. 'greater than or equal to'. This will return all patients who have received at least one cycle of treatment in that date range.

Clinic Utilisation Report
A 'Clinic Utilisation' report has been created to show patients who have attended both the clinician and/or the infusion centre. The duration of the appointment has been used to estimate the time the patient attended the clinic, as using actual data on attended time or discharge time can be inaccurate when the system is not updated at the actual time of discharge or completion of the visit.
The report defaults on opening to the previous month's date range, but the dates can be changed by the user.
If the user is a clinician, the report will default to showing only patients for that primary clinician (if the patient has a primary clinician recorded). The appointment clinician may be searched on as well, as this may be a different person to the primary clinician.
The columns can be filtered by typing in a search parameter at the top of a column, then clicking the 'T' symbol next to the column header and choosing a filter.
